Edit captions, crop, and customize clips
Refine AI-generated clips: adjust captions, reframe to vertical, and add your branding before publishing.
AI-generated clips are a strong starting point. A minute of editing per clip — tightening the caption, reframing, and adding your branding — is what makes them feel native to each platform.
Edit captions
Open any clip to access its caption editor. You can:
- Edit the text — fix names, jargon, or anything the AI misheard
- Adjust styling — change font, size, color, and position
- Re-time captions — keep words in sync with the audio
Accurate, well-styled captions matter: most short-form video is watched on mute, so the caption often carries the message.
Reframe to vertical
Most short-form platforms (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) use a vertical 9:16 frame. ViralNote reframes horizontal source footage to vertical and keeps the active speaker in frame. You can fine-tune the crop position if the automatic framing isn't centered the way you want.
Trim the clip
Drag the start and end handles to tighten the clip. A strong opening in the first second or two is the single biggest driver of watch time, so trim away slow lead-ins.
Add your branding
Depending on your plan, you can add:
- A logo or watermark
- Brand colors for captions
- Consistent fonts across all your clips
Setting brand defaults once keeps every clip on-brand without repeating the work.
Export or schedule
When a clip looks right, either download it or send it straight to the scheduler to publish across your connected accounts.
