# Manage Social Media with AI

Connect ViralNote to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible assistant and run your whole posting workflow from the chat: "schedule this clip to TikTok and Reels tomorrow at 9", "how did last week's posts do", "draft a LinkedIn version of this thread".

## How it works

1. Sign up at https://dashboard.viralnote.app (7-day Publish trial; card required to unlock publishing).
2. Connect your social accounts in the dashboard.
3. Add the ViralNote MCP server to your assistant (https://www.viralnote.app/mcp.md) or paste an API key from https://dashboard.viralnote.app/developers/auth.
4. Ask in plain language. The assistant calls tools such as `create_post`, `publish_post`, and `list_analytics`.

## What the assistant can do

- List the brands (workspaces) the account can post as.
- List posts filtered by status, platform, brand, or date range.
- Fetch one post with its per-platform captions, media, and status.
- Create a draft or scheduled post for one or more platforms.
- Edit captions, media, platforms, or schedule time of an existing post.
- Delete a draft or scheduled post.
- Publish a post to its connected accounts right now.
- Browse the media library (images, videos, GIFs).
- Import an image or video into the library from a URL or base64.
- Remove a media item from the library.
- Generate a 3–10 slide image carousel as a draft post from a topic or presentation.
- List connected social accounts and which platforms are ready to publish.
- List Pinterest boards available to a connected Pinterest account.
- Read shared credit and storage allowances, plus per-brand usage.
- Read the plan, trial state, and whether the account can publish or process video.
- Create a Stripe Checkout link for the account owner to subscribe. Charges nothing by itself.
- Create a Stripe Checkout link for a one-time credit pack.
- Read engagement analytics (views, likes, comments, shares) over a date range.
- Read per-platform publish results and permalinks for posts.
- List registered webhook endpoints and the events they receive.
- Register a webhook endpoint for post.published, post.failed, and related events.
- Delete a webhook endpoint.
- List comments on published posts, filtered by brand, platform, post, or status.
- Pull the latest comments from connected networks into the inbox. Sends nothing.
- Send a public reply to a comment as the connected brand account.
- Suggest a brand-aware reply for a comment without posting it.
- Mark a comment handled or reopen it. Local inbox state only.
- Hide, unhide, delete, or report a comment on the connected network.
- List a brand's saved replies.
- Save a reusable answer for one brand.
- Edit a saved reply's title or text.
- Delete a saved reply.

You never have to use an AI assistant: everything is also available in the dashboard UI.
